About This Project

A commercial building out in Deming that needed more than paint: the south wall by the awning and the east wall had to be re-sided entirely, the fascia was failing, and the rest of the envelope wore a patchwork of aged siding and house wrap. Foothill weather is hard country for a building to stand bare in, so the carpentry and coating had to land in the same season.

New siding went up on the south and east walls first, and the failing fascia came off and was replaced. Then the whole building — minus one wall that didn't need it — was primed in Peel Bond and finished in SuperPaint: a calm sage green body with white trim that pulls the patchwork into one clean building. What had been three eras of siding now reads as one.
