About This Project

A row of four Ferndale townhomes wearing a dated two-tone: red-brown panels crashing against tan, with gables, porches, and shake accents multiplying every color break. The owner wanted the row simplified to one body color and one trim color — which on a multi-gable row means hundreds of clean cut lines, not fewer.

Peel Bond primer went over both old colors so the new scheme would hold evenly across them, then the row was sprayed in a single warm tan with trim brushed in soft cream — the dark shake gables left natural for contrast. Porches, rails, and all four entries were detailed unit by unit with residents home throughout. The row now reads calm and current instead of busy and dated.
