About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A single-level Blaine rambler in tired tan, with fascia boards gone soft, a back door past saving, and faded red doors that had stopped being a feature years ago. The owners didn't want a safe repaint — they wanted the house to feel happy.
OUR APPROACH
The carpentry came first: failing fascia trim repaired, and the worn exterior door replaced outright with a new one before any paint. Then Peel Bond primer over the aged siding, and the color turn: Optimistic Yellow across the body — a warm, cheerful yellow that reads like sunshine even in a gray Blaine winter — with the double doors, front and back, finished in Wall Street, a blue-gray that keeps the yellow grounded. Two coats of SuperPaint over the lot.
