From Faded Teal to Sheraton Sage SW 0014 — a Bellingham Craftsman Bungalow

About This Project
This 1920s-style craftsman bungalow in Bellingham had solid bones — exposed rafter tails, triangular knee braces, a deep front porch — but its gray-teal paint had gone flat and was pulling attention away from the details that make the house special. The owner wanted a warmer, historic look that would honor the bungalow's era.
We built the palette from Sherwin-Williams' Historic collection: Sheraton Sage on the shingle siding, Creamy on the trim and porch posts, and the knee braces picked out in Garden Sage — a two-green scheme that's period-correct for a craftsman. Prep included a full pressure wash, re-caulking, scraping, and careful masking, plus replacing water-damaged window trim with new lumber before any paint went on. The siding was sprayed in a smooth double layer, and every brace, corner board, and window frame was finished with two brushed coats.
