About This Project

A rambler set deep in the firs of north Bellingham, where tree shade keeps siding damp and eats cheap paint jobs early. The owner wanted something soft that would belong under all that green rather than fight it.

After a full wash, scrape, and mask, the fiber-cement siding went on in Sagey — a silvery sage that picks up the forest light — with Snowbound trim for quiet contrast and the gable shingles finished in Driftwood, a gray semi-solid that lets the shake texture read through. The three-part scheme keeps a simple rambler looking layered without a single loud choice.
