About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A north Bellingham split-entry whose fascia had failed the whole way around — full replacement, not repair — and whose faded green paint and tired cedar-shake skirt were dragging the house down together.
OUR APPROACH
Carpentry led: the fascia was replaced entirely, and fresh cedar shake went onto the skirt. The body was primed in Peel Bond and finished in Coastal Plain, a grounded sage green, with the new fascia and the underside of the back deck in Sleepy Owlet and the window and door trim in Threaded Loom — an earthy three-neutral scheme that lets the new cedar read as a feature. Both garage doors and the front door were finished in Threaded Loom Emerald enamel, and the deck's underside got SuperDeck.
