About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A Ferndale kitchen with exposed beams and a skylight, plus a glass-front corner bar unit in the next room — 48 doors and drawer fronts in all, and two spaces that needed to read bright without reading identical.
OUR APPROACH
Every piece came off, numbered, and went through the full system: degrease, putty and caulk, sand, prime, sand the primer, then finish coats of Emerald Urethane. The main kitchen was sprayed in Snowbound, a soft white that keeps warmth under the wood beams; the bar cabinets got Cotton, a touch creamier, so the glass-front unit reads as its own furniture piece. A January project, done while exterior season slept.
