About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A big farmhouse kitchen — full perimeter runs, glass uppers, an island under triple pendants — plus the bathroom vanity, all wanting the same crisp white cabinet finish. One of our earliest cabinet projects, and the one that set the standard for the system we still use.
OUR APPROACH
Doors and drawers off and numbered, boxes degreased and sanded, then sprayed white cabinet enamel across the kitchen and the bath vanity — with the vanity's drawer boxes out and every edge taped clean. Black hardware and countertops do the contrast work against all that white. Three years on, it's the proof photo we'd show anyone asking whether painted cabinets last.
