About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
This one was a rescue: paint peeling off in sheets, bare wood showing across whole walls, the kind of failure that gets worse every wet month it waits. Cosmetics were beside the point — the siding needed saving.
OUR APPROACH
Aggressive scraping back to sound surface, then Peel Bond primer over everything — this is precisely the situation that product exists for, locking down edges and gluing the new system to old wood. Two coats of SuperPaint satin in Iron Ore, a near-black charcoal that looks deliberate and architectural, with Extra White trim and the gutter system painted to match. The back door was finished with the scheme.
