A Ferndale Metal Building Goes Cyberspace SW 7076 — Nylatech's Full Exterior
“Excellent 👌 job. Tons of follow through on job”
About This Project
Nylatech's manufacturing facility in Ferndale wore decades of weathered white metal — streaked with dirt, spotted with rust, and impossible to keep looking clean. Painting metal siding isn't wall painting with a different color: rust has to come off, the coating has to grip bare galvanized surfaces, and the building had to keep running through all of it.
The siding got a full pressure wash with detergent and a stiff-bristle scrub, then every rust spot and surface imperfection was sanded to sound metal. A rust-inhibiting primer built for metal went on first, followed by sprayed finish coats of Pro Industrial DTM in Cyberspace — a deep charcoal that turned a tired warehouse into the sharpest building on its street. The doors went darker still, in Black of Night.
