About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
This north Bellingham rambler had fresh cedar siding patched into old painted walls — bare wood next to faded yellow, the kind of mixed surface where paint fails fast if you rush it. The shed and both doors needed to come along too.
OUR APPROACH
Everything got Peel Bond primer — the one coating that grips bare cedar and chalky old paint equally — then two coats of SuperPaint satin in Slate Tile, a blue-slate that turned the patchwork into one calm, unified house. Trim, the front door, and the garage door went bright white for contrast, and the shed was painted to match so the whole property reads finished.
