About This Project
THE CHALLENGE
A big board-and-batten two-story near Birch Bay whose pale green had thinned to almost nothing on the weather side. Homes this close to the water need a coating with body, and a color that can hold its own under white coastal sky.
OUR APPROACH
Full wash and scrape, then Evergreen Fog across the body — Sherwin's much-loved gray-green that reads calm and grounded in flat coastal light where brighter colors go washy. Pure White trim frames the windows and gables. Sprayed double-layer on the board-and-batten, brushed trim, two coats throughout in SuperPaint satin.
