37 Doors to Foxhall Green SW 9184 — a Bellingham Kitchen Cabinet Repaint
“Hilltop was outstanding to work with - Daniel was incredibly responsive, they did our interior walls and kitchen cabinet painting project on time (actually it was done early) and on budget, the quality of the work was excellent, and the places where we had requests for little fixes were taken care of literally the next day. Their crews were there 7 am to 7 pm a lot of days, often even weekends. I would use them again in a heartbeat.”
About This Project
A beautiful Bellingham kitchen stuck in dark espresso: 37 doors and drawer fronts, a big island, and cabinetry that made the whole room feel heavier than it was. The owners wanted a deep, confident green instead — plus new trim on the island, in the bathrooms, and in the laundry room while the crew was there.
Every door and drawer front came off, labeled piece by piece so it went back exactly where it belonged. Surfaces were degreased, puttied, and caulked, then sanded, primed, and sanded again before the finish coats of Emerald Urethane went on in Foxhall Green — a furniture-grade enamel that cures hard and smooth. New 5-inch flat wood trim went onto the island and into the bathrooms and laundry room, and the walls got two coats of Sanctuary in SuperPaint eggshell to warm up around all that green. The upstairs ceiling was repainted too.
