Every Kind of Commercial Space in Lynden
Pick your property type — the plan, products, and schedule change with it.
Offices & Professional Suites
Weekend and evening repaints so your team never works around wet paint. Low-odor, fast-cure coatings mean the office smells like an office on Monday morning.
Front Street Standards
Lynden keeps its commercial buildings the way it keeps its homes: sharp. Storefront work here has to meet that standard, and our brushwork on trim and facades does.
Dairy-country farm businesses get the practical package: durable systems on working buildings, quoted per structure.
Around Church, Market, and Fair
Lynden's calendar is full. We schedule around it, from Saturday markets to fair week.
What Lynden Businesses Can Expect
Schedules that hold, commercial-grade coatings, and paperwork handled before the first drop cloth goes down.
Painting That Works Around Your Business Hours
Downtime costs you money, so we build the schedule around your hours — nights, weekends, or phased areas — and hit the dates in the contract. That's true for every Lynden business we serve, from single storefronts to multi-building properties.
A dedicated project manager coordinates with your staff or property manager daily, and every crew member is badged, insured, and background-checked.
Coatings Built for High Traffic
Lobbies, corridors, and retail floors need scuff-resistant, scrubbable finishes — not homeowner-grade paint. We spec commercial urethanes and epoxies where traffic demands it, and low-VOC systems for occupied spaces like offices and clinics.
The result reads clean years longer between repaint cycles.
Multi-Family & Property Management
We handle unit turns, common areas, and full exterior repaints for Lynden's apartment and condo communities — with per-unit pricing that makes budgeting simple.
Ask about standing agreements: many local property managers keep us on call for turnovers.
Licensed, Insured, and COI-Ready
Hilltop Painting is licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington. Certificates of insurance are provided before work starts — no chasing paperwork.
Detailed, itemized proposals arrive within 48 hours of the walkthrough.
Exact Brand & Color Matching
Franchise spec sheet or a single faded chip — we match it exactly with Sherwin-Williams commercial systems, and document the formula for future touch-ups.
Your locations stay consistent, your brand stays sharp.
Maintenance & Repaint Programs
Annual touch-up cycles and scheduled repaints keep your property looking sharp and your budget predictable — no surprise capital expense every few years.
One call, same crew, year after year.

From Squahalish to Front Street: A Short History of Lynden
Phoebe and Holden Judson settled here in 1870, on Nooksack land near a village called Squahalish. Phoebe took the name from a poem, Thomas Campbell's Hohenlinden, and swapped the i for a y because she liked the look of it better. Her statue stands at Front and 6th today.
The valley was logged through the 1870s, and once the log jams on the Nooksack were cleared, the cleared land turned to farms. A road to Whatcom opened in 1875, the railroad followed about ten years later, and Lynden incorporated on March 16, 1891. After the First World War the raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry fields came in alongside the dairies and poultry farms that still frame the town.
Dutch families arrived in numbers through the early and mid 1900s, and by 1995 the city counted 28 Dutch churches. The Dutch storefronts along Front Street are newer than they look: the town leaned into that heritage in the 1980s, along with Holland Days each spring and Sinterklaas in December.
Front Street's Dutch-themed storefronts, the dairy and berry operations, and the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds all repaint on a schedule. We work around fair week and harvest, not against them.
