Every Kind of Commercial Space in Custer
Pick your property type — the plan, products, and schedule change with it.
Offices & Professional Suites
Weekend and evening repaints so your team never works around wet paint. Low-odor, fast-cure coatings mean the office smells like an office on Monday morning.
Working Buildings, Painted to Work
Custer commercial means shops, barns, and agricultural buildings that earn their keep. Each structure gets quoted on its own line and coated with systems chosen for the surface: DTM for metal, breathable acrylic for wood.
Open-field exposure hits the weather side hardest, so that's where the prep hours go.
Around the Operation
Equipment moves, animals stay calm, work continues. We plan the job around all three.
What Custer Businesses Can Expect
Schedules that hold, commercial-grade coatings, and paperwork handled before the first drop cloth goes down.
Painting That Works Around Your Business Hours
Downtime costs you money, so we build the schedule around your hours — nights, weekends, or phased areas — and hit the dates in the contract. That's true for every Custer business we serve, from single storefronts to multi-building properties.
A dedicated project manager coordinates with your staff or property manager daily, and every crew member is badged, insured, and background-checked.
Coatings Built for High Traffic
Lobbies, corridors, and retail floors need scuff-resistant, scrubbable finishes — not homeowner-grade paint. We spec commercial urethanes and epoxies where traffic demands it, and low-VOC systems for occupied spaces like offices and clinics.
The result reads clean years longer between repaint cycles.
Multi-Family & Property Management
We handle unit turns, common areas, and full exterior repaints for Custer's apartment and condo communities — with per-unit pricing that makes budgeting simple.
Ask about standing agreements: many local property managers keep us on call for turnovers.
Licensed, Insured, and COI-Ready
Hilltop Painting is licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington. Certificates of insurance are provided before work starts — no chasing paperwork.
Detailed, itemized proposals arrive within 48 hours of the walkthrough.
Exact Brand & Color Matching
Franchise spec sheet or a single faded chip — we match it exactly with Sherwin-Williams commercial systems, and document the formula for future touch-ups.
Your locations stay consistent, your brand stays sharp.
Maintenance & Repaint Programs
Annual touch-up cycles and scheduled repaints keep your property looking sharp and your budget predictable — no surprise capital expense every few years.
One call, same crew, year after year.

What Our Customers Say
"The crew was very prompt, courteous, efficient and detail oriented. They even painted the letters on the building! The building looks terrific and we are extremely happy with the work. We highly recommend Hilltop Painting."
"Daniel was great to work with, prompt in his communication & patient with us when “we” (HOA of condos) took longer to decide than a standard homeowner."
"I can't say enough good things about Hilltop Painting! We discussed our project with a number of companies and received a crazy range of quotes, from $20k to $130k. We found out later that the least expensive option didn't include trim repair or the proper equipment to tackle our slope."

Named for the Storekeeper: A Short History of Custer
Custer got its name in 1886 from Albert W. Custer, an early settler who ran the first store and served as the first postmaster. The original town sat at what is now the corner of Valley View and Bay Roads.
When the railroad came through between 1890 and 1892, the whole town moved to meet it, and Custer has stayed close to the tracks and the highway ever since. It never incorporated; it is a census-designated place of open farmland between Ferndale and Blaine.
It is still small, 518 people at the 2020 census, up from 366 ten years earlier, with farmhouses, barns, and shops on acreage and newer homes along the I-5 corridor.
Farm operations and the businesses along the corridor need durable coatings on metal, block, and wood, scheduled around the work day.
