Why Burlington Homeowners Choose a Local Painter
From established ranch homes near downtown to newer subdivisions east of I-5, Burlington homes face real Pacific Northwest weather. We paint here regularly β and plan every project around it. Our wet Pacific Northwest weather is hard on paint, so every proposal starts with prep.
Burlington sits low in the Skagit Valley, where fog and damp air linger and shaded walls mildew early.
Burlington has plenty of homes built before 1978, where old coatings need careful, lead-safe prep. As an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, our crews handle scraping and sanding on older siding the safe, legal way β and we schedule every exterior around real Skagit County weather windows.

Painting Homes in Burlington
Burlington's family neighborhoods and commercial corridors span everything from newer developments to older homes that need repairs before repainting.
Burlington is Skagit's crossroads β a hard-working retail hub ringed by tidy neighborhoods. We paint both sides of that: storefronts on schedule, and family homes built to shrug off flats weather.
From Logging Camp to Crossroads: A Short History of Burlington
Burlington started as a logging camp set up by John P. Millett and William McKay in 1882, on the flats where the Skagit Valley's roads and rails would soon cross. It incorporated on June 16, 1902.
The first businesses lined Fairhaven Avenue, and that street is still the heart of the old downtown, revitalized in recent years. The interurban railway that opened in 1912 tied Burlington to Bellingham, Mount Vernon, and Sedro-Woolley, and the town has been the valley's crossroads ever since.
It sits about halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, and today it is Skagit County's retail hub, ringed by tidy neighborhoods old and new. The 2020 census counted 9,152 people.
For a painter, Burlington is a hard-working retail hub ringed by family neighborhoods, and we paint both sides of that: storefronts on schedule, and homes prepped for fog, damp, and early mildew on the shade side.
