Every Kind of Commercial Space in Anacortes
Pick your property type β the plan, products, and schedule change with it.
Offices & Professional Suites
Weekend and evening repaints so your team never works around wet paint. Low-odor, fast-cure coatings mean the office smells like an office on Monday morning.
Painting for a Working Waterfront
Anacortes commercial property fights salt from two directions. Marina buildings, Commercial Avenue storefronts, and multi-family properties all get marine-grade wash-and-prime before coating, because salt under paint is a warranty claim waiting to happen.
We're on Fidalgo regularly, so island logistics never pad the bill.
Open While We Paint
Retail hours stay retail hours. We sequence entrances, mask smart, and shift to evenings where foot traffic demands it.
What Anacortes Businesses Can Expect
Schedules that hold, commercial-grade coatings, and paperwork handled before the first drop cloth goes down.
Painting That Works Around Your Business Hours
Downtime costs you money, so we build the schedule around your hours β nights, weekends, or phased areas β and hit the dates in the contract. That's true for every Anacortes business we serve, from single storefronts to multi-building properties.
A dedicated project manager coordinates with your staff or property manager daily, and every crew member is badged, insured, and background-checked.
Coatings Built for High Traffic
Lobbies, corridors, and retail floors need scuff-resistant, scrubbable finishes β not homeowner-grade paint. We spec commercial urethanes and epoxies where traffic demands it, and low-VOC systems for occupied spaces like offices and clinics.
The result reads clean years longer between repaint cycles.
Multi-Family & Property Management
We handle unit turns, common areas, and full exterior repaints for Anacortes's apartment and condo communities β with per-unit pricing that makes budgeting simple.
Ask about standing agreements: many local property managers keep us on call for turnovers.
Licensed, Insured, and COI-Ready
Hilltop Painting is licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington. Certificates of insurance are provided before work starts β no chasing paperwork.
Detailed, itemized proposals arrive within 48 hours of the walkthrough.
Exact Brand & Color Matching
Franchise spec sheet or a single faded chip β we match it exactly with Sherwin-Williams commercial systems, and document the formula for future touch-ups.
Your locations stay consistent, your brand stays sharp.
Maintenance & Repaint Programs
Annual touch-up cycles and scheduled repaints keep your property looking sharp and your budget predictable β no surprise capital expense every few years.
One call, same crew, year after year.

The New York of the West That Wasn't: A Short History of Anacortes
Fidalgo Island was Samish and Swinomish country, and the Samish Indian Nation still keeps its offices in Anacortes. The island is named for Salvador Fidalgo, the Spanish explorer who charted it in 1790.
Amos Bowman moved his family to the north tip of the island in 1877 and named the town for his wife, Anne Curtis Bowman. He promoted it as the obvious Pacific terminus of the Northern Pacific, the New York of the West, and started a newspaper to say so. Rail rumors set off a land boom from 1888 to 1890, the Oregon Improvement Company posted $15 million in bonds, and the town incorporated on May 19, 1891, the same year the bubble burst.
The railroad went elsewhere, and Anacortes turned to what the water offered: fishing, salmon canneries, and timber mills. Today the ferries to the San Juans and Guemes Island leave from here, and the 2020 census counted 17,637 people.
Downtown storefronts, marina buildings, and boatyards all live with salt, and most want work done between the summer ferry rush and the winter rains.
